Just a short walk from Cambridge railway station Cambridge Junction is a popular arts venue with a varied programme covering live music, comedy, contemporary theatre and dance, club and family events. The venue opened in 1990 and has expanded significantly since its early days whilst still providing an intimate environment in which to watch gigs.

The live music programme features a wide range of genres including indie, rock, pop and electronic as well as folk, roots and acoustic in its smaller space. The venue is an active part of the city’s live music scene and supports up and coming musicians through its regular Fiver and Fiver Unplugged events.

Big names who have played the venue include Lou Reed, Blur, Radiohead, Amy Winehouse, Coldplay, Mumford & Sons, Lily Allen and Lee Scratch Perry, with exclusive warm-up shows from Elbow, Gorillaz and Hot Chip in recent years.

Cambridge Junction is a social enterprise, earning over 50% of its income through events and activities which is reinvested back into the business and its social mission.
