Guildford, The Boileroom

Founded in September 2006 by an independent collective dedicated to promoting the highest quality live music, creative arts and club events, the Boileroom has quickly garnered a reputation as one of the South East’s best live music venues.

Now in its’ seventh year, Guildford’s most established and respected independent live music venue books an eclectic and varied programme of music and events.

The Boileroom has a national presence as a destination venue for emerging touring acts as well as well-established stalwarts like Ed Sheeran, Kate Nash, Foals, The Bronx, First Aid Kit and The Blockheads, Acoustic Ladyland, Newton Faulkner, The Boxer Rebellion, Pure Love, Glasvegas, Frank Turner, The Joy Formidable, Reemer, JJ Burnell (The Stranglers), Belleruche and Mercury Award nominee Soweto Kinch. Not to mention DJ sets from Peter Hook formerly of New Order/Joy Division, David ‘Ram Jam’ Rodigan, and Kele from Indie superstars Bloc Party. An in-house noodle bar provides hot, freshly prepared dishes served from the bar, along with bar snacks and an extensive drinks menu. The Boileroom works with the local community; curating a stage at Magic Summer Live 2013, Redfest and the Guildford Beer Festival; hosting The Big Draw, and monthly Craft Clubs.
